Nintendo has released more than a dozen new screenshots from the Team Ninja-developed 2D and 3D hybrid Metroid: Other M, showing off Samus Aran’s latest exploits from a variety of different perspectives.

Interestingly, the entire batch of screens were taken at native 720p, a resolution that consumer Wii hardware does not support.  Official word from the company is that “screen captures are taken from a version of the game still in development and are provided at a higher resolution than what is available in game.” Mmm-hmm, we say.
