Who’s That Flying?! Delayed

Citing unforeseen technical issues with PS3 cross-compatibility, developer Mediatonic has sent word that its aerial side-scrolling shooter Who’s That Flying?! has been delayed. Previously locked for October 12, a release has been moved into next month.

Mediatonic is working alongside Sony to address the issue, which “affects a very small minority of older-style PlayStation 3 units, causing the game to crash when played on the PlayStation 3.”

“We’re really sorry for the delay, but we definitely want everyone to be able to have the same (hopefully awesome) experience, regardless of their set-up!,” said producer Jim Griffiths. He added, “We hope to have some good news and a new launch date confirmed very soon, and will post updates as soon as we know more!”

It’s unfortunate a snag of this nature was hit just before release day, but at the same time, we’re glad to see Mediatonic is taking the time to make things right to ensure a bug-free experience. As a result, we’re holding off on publishing our review until the issue is rectified.
