The content just keeps coming to Borderlands 2. Despite the fact that Gearbox released the new character Gaige the Mechromancer earlier this week, the developer is now shifting gears and readying its next batch of Borderlands 2 DLC.

As indicated by a report on Associated Press, Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate’s Booty will be available for download on October 16. The add-on content will include new enemies such as sand worms, the brand new sand skiff vehicle, and the seraph crystals currency. All of these features are still shrouded in mystery at this point, with no major details on any of them at the moment.

The Captain Scarlett DLC will be priced at $9.99 if you’re buying it as a standalone item. Players who purchased the Borderlands 2 season pass for $29.99, however, will have instant access to the content without having to pay anything extra, and they’ll have three additional expansion packs to look forward to as part of the season pass.
