New Alan Wake, BioWare Title Reveals Promised for VGAs

Spike TV’s celebrity-fueled Video Game Awards show will once again play host to more than a few game reveals this year. According to GTTV host Geoff Keighley, viewers can expect trailer footage of the next Alan Wake, a new BioWare title, and long-awaited details on Metal Gear Solid Rising — courtesy of Hideo Kojima himself.
As previously reported, the new Alan Wake is an downloadable Xbox Live effort, not retail-bound. Sounds like more an expansion pack type deal.
The full list of VGA “Game of the Year” nominees, which will be judged by select press outlets, include Batman: Arkham City, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception, Portal 2 and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
