According to a “extremely trusted source” close to enthusiast site XBLAFans, the upcoming Alan Wake: Night Springs is in fact an XBLA release. The site further claims they have access to screenshots, but have been asked not to disclose them at this time.

Adding credence to the report is a statement from Remedy’s Oskari Hakkinen, who recently told Eurogamer that the next Alan Wake will not be a sequel or DLC. While far from a confirmation, it certainly makes the notion of an XBLA-only release more convincing.
