One of the key creative minds behind Valve’s Portal will soon announce her next title, in partnership with Square Enix.

In 2009, it was revealed that Kim Swift jumped ship from Valve to secure a position at Airtight Games, developer of Capcom’s Dark Void.

Square Enix has picked up publishing rights for the next project from Airtight. While details are virtually nonexistent, Square is describing the game as “incredibly fascinating and quirky.” It’s due for a reveal at PAX Prime, during a panel to be held this coming Saturday.

Hope its better than Portal 2. More like Portal 1 perhaps.

MenaceInc says:

I thought Portal 2 was pretty good. It had everything that Portal had then added on a number of new elements. The puzzles themselves I'll admit didn't confuse me as much and there were significantly more loading screens but it was a dam good sequel.

Nader says:

Puzzles were too easy, but everything else was fine. But the puzzles are the main thing, and that's why I was a bit dissappointed.
