Thought Far Cry 2 was massive? Ubisoft says the upcoming third installment, announced at its E3 2011 presser, will feature ten times as much scale as previous entries.

“If you look at the vistas and the scale of Far Cry 1 and 2, take that and multiply it by ten,” narrative director Jason VandenBerghe told UK gaming mag Edge.

In addition, VandenBerghe noted that locales will be “dense,” giving players “something to find or see” around every nook and cranny. The title features lush tropical landscapes, akin to the setting of the first Far Cry.
