Max Payne 3 Detailed in EDGE Magazine

by Justin B. on April 4, 2011 @ 11:58 am

Just under a week from when the first new screenshots appeared of Max Payne 3, we now receive more details on the illusive title. MP3 is now known to be a co-operation between Rockstar’s various studios, including Vancouver, New England, Toronto and London. The third entry in the Max Payne series will still include bullet-time, an ability to go into a slow-mo mode to take down multiple enemies with relative ease as well as fully destructible environments.

For the first time in the series history online multiplayer will make an appearance, although how it will be implemented is not known at this time. You can read more about the game in the latest issue of EDGE.

I should really get around to beating the second one.

I'm really interested in how they will implement bullet-time into multiplayer

x3sphere says:

I hope it's a worthy successor, though knowing Rockstar I'm sure it won't disappoint. MP2 is still one of my favorite games of all time, up there with Half-Life.

FrozenIpaq says:

I much preferred the original MP to the second one. My dad has probably played the original game 20 times through since it has come out and still returns to it now and then

january39 says:

I thought the first one was dreadful, and as a result i have never even looked at the 2nd.
