Next month is a crowded one for fans of the RPG genre. With Dragon Quest VI and Tactics Ogre on the horizon, XSEED Games today announced that Ys I&II Chronicles is due out February 22 in the states.

Touted as the “ultimate edition” of Ys I and Ys II, the PSP revival brings with it a fresh translation, newly-arranged music and re-imagined art. As a bonus, XSEED has gone the extra mile to include a soundtrack CD with all retail launch copies that celebrates the series’ 80s roots.
