Share the gift of Dragon Quest VI this Valentine’s Day as Nintendo has announced that it will publish the sixth installment of Square Enix’s long-running RPG franchise, remade for DS. The title is set to release on February 14.

Subtitled ‘Realms of Revelation,’ this debut marks a localization-first, as the original SNES outing never made it outside of Japan. Not counting unofficial fan translations and ROM hacks, of course. As with most DQ titles, the plot revolves around a central conflict, with players setting out on a quest that spans multiple words ravaged by the nefarious Murdaw.

“Millions of players around the world have discovered the timeless fun of Dragon Quest,” said Marc Franklin, Nintendo of America’s director of Public Relations. “The arrival of Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Revelation in North America will give fans unique access to a classic game in the series for the first time, offering new ways to explore and enjoy the DRAGON QUEST universe.”
