According to an invite sent to select outlets, Nintendo of America is hosting a small preview event for the 3DS come January 19. While details are scant, it’s been confirmed that company president Reggie Fils-Aime is making the rounds for a presentation. Press will also have the opportunity to go hands-on with select 3DS titles.

With the 3DS’ February debut in Japan inching ever so closer, it seems like an opportune time for Nintendo to dish out details on pricing and a North American release date. Last we heard, Nintendo is aiming for a March launch stateside.
