Driver Reboot, Ghost Recon: Future Soldier Hit With Second Delay

Franchise reboot Driver: San Francisco and Ghost Recon: Future Soldier have been delayed into Ubisoft’s fiscal 2011-2012, the company revealed in a earnings report today.
No concrete reason for the delay was given. This setback is not a first. Ubisoft backpedaled on a date for both titles earlier this year, moving them into 2011. Last July, it further blamed an overly “competitive market” for holding back Driver.
“Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Future Soldier and Driver San Francisco, which were previously planned for release in the fourth fiscal quarter, will now be included in the 2011-12 line-up,” read a supplied statement.
