Specialty retailer GameStop has beat Microsoft to the punch in releasing details on the new $39.99 Gears of War re-release that we reported on last week. The retailer reveals that the package will include two free map packs, themes, gamerpics, plus a load of trailers from GoW 1 and the upcoming GoW 2 — all on a separate bonus disc.

If the GameStop listing is any indication, the GoW re-issue will not include any of the extra content from the PC release, which to say the least was expected.

Includes Bonus Disk with Multiplayer Maps, Themes and Gamer Pics and a Gears of War 2 Preview.
