Store Description

Asleep is a 2D point-and-click psychological horror adventure, set in the Brazilian Northeast of the 90s, and with a unique artistic look, ranging from realistic pixel art to fluid animations. "Ato 1" is the first episode of Ana LĂșcia's story, a lonely and confused girl, lost in her nightmares, and immersed in a disturbing reality.

With not much information, and a mind flirting with insanity, the player must join her to unravel what is happening in her universe, collecting clues in her sketchbook and solving puzzles. Armed only with a flashlight to illuminate the path, and wit to survive the enemies always lurking in the darkness.

Use light to your advantage

Turn to your flashlight and the ambient lighting to survive, using light to find new items and places, and even to attract or avoid enemies. Different monsters react differently to light! With your flashlight in hand, use stealth mechanics to escape dangers while learning to deal with each threat.

Don't let the darkness drive you mad

Avoid staying in the dark for too long, as it will cause the protagonist's sanity to deteriorate, leaving her anxious and attracting more dangers. The longer in the darkness, the more chaotic Ana LĂșcia's nightmares become.

A mix of point-and-click and survival horror

Experience the game's dark atmosphere by exploring the highly detailed 2D environments developed in pixel art. Explore point-and-click mechanics to solve puzzles, flee from monsters like in classic survival horrors, and navigate the environment through Asleep's platforming elements.

And more:

  • Travel between two versions of the game's universe, encountering an even darker and more hostile side of it
  • Collect documents, items, and clues to unravel the dark mysteries of the plot
  • Dense narrative with some choices and collectibles that can unlock secret memories
  • Story divided into chapters, with Ato I being the first part of the game
