Xbox Live’s first and only “Primetime” game, 1 vs 100, has officially ended according to Microsoft today. The game, which had players competing in game-show atmosphere for various Xbox Live prizes, finished its 2nd season a few months ago and will not be returning for the 3rd season.

Dave McCharthy, General Manager of Microsoft Game Studios has said that the team is very “excited to apply what we’ve learned to future programming”. During the game’s existence it managed to set a new Guinness world record for the most contestants in a game show, setting the number at 114,000 simultaneous players.
