Xbox 360 Elite Attracting New Gamers

Speaking in a recent interview, Microsoft UK boss Neil Thompson remarked that Microsoft is quite happy with the sales of its high-tier Xbox 360 Elite model. In fact, market research has shown that the Elite model is actually attracting more newcomers to the Xbox 360 platform than it is former Xbox owners.
It was interesting to us, because we thought that a lot of people who came to the platform early would have chosen the Elite, but a lot of the data we’re getting out of store visits, etc, is showing it’s new people, which is fantastic.
