It’s a great week for retro gaming fanatics. First we had the very impressive VC update today, and now Microsoft has announced two more classics that are en route to the Xbox Live Arcade service this Wednesday. The goods: Konami’s 1985 action game Rush ‘n Attack, and Namco’s xerophilous Xevious.
The XBLA version of Rush ‘n Attack features 2-player online multiplayer as well local co-op support, and gives players the option to play the game in either modernized 3D graphics, or old-school 2D. Xevious, on the other hand, is a faithful reproduction of the original arcade game, and users can upload their high scores to the Xbox Live Leaderboards.
Both games will hit this Wednesday for 400 MS points each.
