Speaking in a recent interview, Valve marketing vice president Doug Lombardi revealed that Turtle Rock Studios’ upcoming Source-powered zombie infested shooter Left 4 Dead will hit the PC and Xbox 360 worldwide in November.

When asked if Left 4 Dead will launch alongside a free weekend — giving players a chance to download the title for free through Steam and play online — Lombardi said such an idea was still up in the air, but did mention that at some point in time there will “definitely” be a free weekend.
