Tetris Splash Drops Onto XBLA This Wednesday

Microsoft has announced that this week’s Xbox Live Arcade title will be Tetris Splash, a next-gen refresh of the twenty-two year old block dropping puzzler.
Tetris Splash promises beautiful aquatic playscapes and enhanced graphics. Players can compete solo, competitively or in teams via Xbox Live with support for up to six players.
The game will drop this Wednesday for 800 Microsoft Points. Additionally, Microsoft is promising periodic downloadable content updates containing new themes and background aquatic creatures.

One of the most popular electronic games of all time – Tetris – is back and returns with enhanced graphics and beautiful aquatic playscapes in “Tetris Splash.†“Tetris Splash†will be available for download on Xbox LIVE Arcade this Wednesday, October 3, 2007 at 9:00 a.m. GMT (2:00 a.m. PDT).
