Source: Xbox 360 Ultimate Not So Likely

UK gadget magazine Stuff made a bold claim yesterday when it reported that Microsoft was set to introduce an “Xbox 360 Ultimate” SKU in autumn.
It’s unclear where exactly Stuff’s information stemed from, but the fact is the Ultimate SKU is simply not looking likely, at least with the rumored specifications. In fact, a source close to Microsoft has said that the Ultimate model is not on the cards at all.
Given the rumored specifications, which include a 320GB hard disk drive and HD-DVD drive, the Ultimate model would end up costing more than the top-tiered Xbox 360 Elite, and possibly even more than Sony’s 80GB PS3 model.
