Update: Resident Evil 5 Demo Incoming, Hitting PSN And XBLM

Update: Capcom has since confirmed to ShackNews that the Resident Evil 5 demo is slated to hit PSN as well and a North America release is on the cards. However, a specific release date went unmentioned.
According to a page from the latest issue of Weekly Famitsu, Capcom will release a Resident Evil 5 demo ahead, no — way ahead, of the game’s March 2009 retail debut. This demo is slated to hit the Xbox Live Marketplace on December 5 in Japan. However, we can’t imagine a U.S. or Europe release of the demo is far off. Unfortunately, there’s no word on a PS3 variant of the demo yet, meaning it may indeed be Xbox 360 exclusive — hopefully not though.
