Mr. Driller Online Confirmed For XBLA Wednesday

Following news of the title being listed on Microsoft’s Japanese Xbox site, Microsoft today confirmed that Namco Bandai’s Mr. Driller Online will be released worldwide, with the exception of Korea, on Xbox Live Arcade this coming Wednesday.
Priced at a well-worth-it 800 Microsoft Points, the puzzler features online multiplayer support over Live for up to four players. In addition to single player modes such as Standard Driller and Quest Driller, the game’s online component offers split-screen competition in which players drill through colored blocks as fast as possible to achieve the highest score. Alternatively, players can team up and compete in pairs in Tag Battle mode.
