We’ve known of its existence for awhile now, but today Microsoft felt it was time to officially announce the two-disc Gears of War re-issue that’s slated to hit retailers on June 24.
The supplied press release affirms all of the details that initially appeared on a GameStop listing and – as expected – confirms that the $39.99 re-issue will not include any of the additional content exclusive to the PC release. For a recap of what’s included on the bonus disc, hit the break.

Wait. Let me get this straight. I am paying 39.95 for the same exact game that I bought a year or so ago, that comes with the downloadable map packs which I probably already have gotten from XBOX Live for free, trailers which I can get on the same service or the internet for free, and themes. MINUS any of the exclusive content that came with the PC version.
What a fucking rip off. :(
Microsoft, you fail!
