Microsoft Hit With Class Action Lawsuit Over LIVE Outages

Microsoft’s Xbox Live service suffered some downtime during the holidays. People complained. Microsoft made-up, said they were sorry, and is now giving away a free Xbox Live Arcade game to all members of the service.
That wasn’t good enough for three Texans, who today filed a class action lawsuit against the company. The group allege that Microsoft “failed to provide adequate access and service to Xbox Live and its subscribers.”
The nine page PDF copy of the suit does not claim specific damages, but does note that the amount in controversy is over five million.
