Microsoft Aims To Fix 360 ROD

It has been reported that Microsoft’s repair service is now adding an additional GPU heatsink in Xbox 360 consoles that suffered from the dreaded three rings of death. Whether or not this dual-heatsink technology is making rounds in new Xbox 360 units sold on the retail market is currently unknown, but regardless it is good to see that Microsoft is now making a clear attempt to fix the problem.
