Halo 3 Editions Detailed

Earlier today there was a rumor floating around the internet that Halo 3 would ship on two DVDs. Not true, says Bungie’s community man Frank O’Connor. Of course, Halo 3 is not finished yet, but as-is right now, Frankie says Halo 3 would ship on one DVD.

In addition to busting the rumor, Frankie has given us a rundown on each Halo 3 version. The Standard Edition? Plain Ol’ Vanilla… box, manual and game. Then there’s the metal-cased Collector’s Edition, which features a hard cover Bestiarum book. Lastly, there’s the snazzy, awe inspiring (and expensive) Legendary Edition, which includes a fully sculpted Spartan helmet, storyboard collection, and a Legendary Disc packed to the brim with exclusive content such as a tour of the Halo fan community and hi-res cinematics of Halo 1 and 2.

Both editions, Collectors and Legendary, will also include an Interactive Xbox 360 Bonus disc. For more details hit up Bungie’s weekly update.
