Halo 3 Destroyed Hollywood

Apparently box office sales aren’t doing so well right now. The Farrelly Brothers’ The Heartbreak Kid only saw about 14 million in revenue on the October 5 weekend the film opened, 27 percent less revenue than initially expected.

To Hollywood this is a utter failure, and what are they blaming it on? Not the movie itself — of course, instead the blame is going on Master Chief for driving sales away from the box office. Analyst Mike Hickey comments:

The audience on this game is the 18-to-34 demographic, similar to what you’d see in cinemas. This could last for several weeks.

Let’s see how many film studios push back their movie release dates once Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto IV is dated.

Like lots of things the gaming industry has become the end all blame all for anything that goes wrong. Movies are doing badly must be the games. My kid has a bad mark must be games. I hate life must be games. I feel like I gotta hit everyone in the head with a blunt object must be games. It's getting absolutely frickin redoncoulous. How bout everyone takes a shot at computers and technology in general. Just some people.

But it's all the Games fault, Movies suck lol Games have better plot lines (well some do) and Games are beter promoted lol As for movies, why is it that "THE ROCKS's" Disney movie still one of the top Box Office Movies, when there are better ones out there. Wait Nevermind, maybe people dont want to waste their Bandwith on the movie. Back to Games yes Halo 3 is to blame for the Movie Industry being a sinking ship, why HALO 3 is probably better then ANY yes ANY of the big Hollywood movies out there at the moment. So the Halo Fanatics aren't going out of their way to "pause the Xbox Live Gaming Experience" for a really BAD movie.
