Gunstar Heroes XBLA Shots Leak Out

A few screenshots from the heavily-rumored XBLA rendition of Gunstar Heroes have hit the web, presumably taken from Microsoft’s PartnerNet service. From taking a gander at the shots, it appears this will soon mark another entry in Sega’s retro-flavored “Vintage Collection” series. Graphically it’s a nostalgia trip, with visuals that look identical to 1993′s Genesis release. More interesting though is that one of the screens indicate that offline and online co-op play is being worked in.
Sega has yet to officially announce the title as XBLA-bound but its appearance on PartnerNet may mean a release is not that far off. This isn’t always the case, but one can hope. Hit up the link for more 16-bit imagery.
