Microsoft announced plans at this week’s GDC to launch a 512MB Memory Unit for the Xbox 360 and an official size limit increase of 50MB to 150MB for Xbox Live Arcade games. The 512MB Memory Unit will be available worldwide starting April 3rd, 2007 for an estimated price of $49.99.

As a special treat for gamers, the Memory Unit will also be pre-loaded with the hit XBL game "Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved".
