With EA’s Chicago studio down for the count, former studio head Kudo Tsunoda decided not to relocate within the bounds of EA and has since moved out to join Microsoft’s Xbox division. Tsunoda is the third EA staffer to recently make the switch to Microsoft, joining former EA execs Don Mattrick and John Schappert.

Best known for the Fight Night Round series and Def Jam Icon, rumors indicate that Tsundoa has been appointed as project lead for the next Gears of War title.
