Fable 2 Coming Late 2008

Speaking in a recent interview, Lionhead Studios head Peter Molyneux said that Fable 2, the company’s much-anticipated successor to Xbox RPG Fable, would be released in “late 2008.”

Late 2008. Maybe when the leaves have a slight brownish tinge – but are still on the trees, if you see what I mean.

Even though Fable is still a ways off, Lionhead Studios is already thinking toward the future. According to Molyneux, a new title is currently in the planning stages and it’s a hybrid of Dimitri.

Breaking away from console development, Molyneux said that he would like to develop Dungeon Keeper for the DS. There’s a slim chance of that happening though, as Molyneux would have to be granted permission from EA as they hold the franchise rights.
