Come next week, Microsoft and Activision will be holding the second Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Live Fire Weekend on Xbox Live. The competition kicks off Friday, April 18 at 12:01 a.m. EDT through Sunday, April 20 at 11:59 p.m. EDT.

Prizes, which will be awarded hourly, include CoD 4 themed t-shirts, posters autographed by developer Infinity Ward, and Xbox Live point cards. In addition to other memorabilia, one grand-prize winner will receive Xbox 360 Elite console signed by Infinity Ward developers and a commemorative CoD 4 faceplate.

Players can register for the event now at Xbox.com.

Additionally, on April 18 from 6-9 p.m. EDT and also on Saturday from 9-11 p.m. EDT, gamers can wage war online with more than a dozen Infinity Ward developers. The list of gamertags you will need to add to your Xbox Live buddy list can be found after the jump.
