Bungie Q&A: Bungie Sticking With MS For The Foreseeable Future, Halo DS Real

The folks over at Kotaku recently zipped over a few questions to Bungie’s Community and Franchise Director Brian Jarrard, to get his input on the announcement made today that Bungie will be a privately held independent company.
First off, it should be known that Bungie now owns Bungie. Decisions are now up to Bungie themselves, not Microsoft. However — don’t worry, Bungie isn’t jumping ship anytime soon, as Jarrard has stated that for the “foreseeable future” it has every intention of sticking with MS, continue to stand behind the Halo franchise, but at the same time also create new IPs.
Kotaku: With this new independence are you allowed to start playing around with developing titles for Nintendo and Sony?
Brian Jarrard: For the foreseeable future we’re focused on Microsoft platforms and the Xbox and Xbox 360 have obviously been very good to us.
Apart from this, Jarrard was asked about Halo DS. Some are calling it fake. Not true, he said that the demo was in fact real but nothing nothing ever came of it.
