Blacksite: Area 51 Demo goes Live

Midway has released a demo of its forthcoming action-packed first-person shooter Blacksite: Area 51 on the Xbox Live Marketplace. Blacksite: Area 51 takes players into a small American town swarming with alien life. The government is desperate, struggling to contain secrets so terrible they can no longer be kept. You, as Aeran Pierce, a former Special Forces assassin, must put a stop to these terrible events to save the world before it’s too late.
Midway reckons it’ll “redefine the first person shooter (FPS) genre.” Big claims. Will it live up to the hype? Give the demo a try and let us know your thoughts.

I just downloaded and played it... It isn't anything to marvel at YET, but it looks very promising. The demo is obviously not going to reflect the full quality of the main product, but I can see the development of a very enjoyable game, but there's nothing that's 'reinventing' the FPS yet.
