Rare, as usual, has been keeping mum on the subject of Banjo Threeie. But Microsoft’s Shane Kim has given us a release window for the title, revealing in a recent interview that it would be released as soon as this holiday season rolls around.

I’m super-excited about what they’re doing with ‘Banjo.’ I think ‘Banjo’ is going to be a big hit for us this holiday.

As for future Rare titles, Kim noted that both directions may still be taken in regards to developing M-rated and family friendly titles.
