Microsoft announced today that Rare’s original N64 classic Banjo-Kazooie will hit Xbox Live Arcade on November 26, priced at a premium of 1200 Microsoft Points.
The XBLA rendition of Banjo links up with the forthcoming release of Xbox 360 title Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bots via “Stop N’ Swop,” a gameplay element that rewards players with extra content and features.
As a reminder, those who pre-order Nuts & Bots, due out on November 14, will receive a free voucher code to download Banjo-Kazooie on XBLA two weeks early. If you plan on purchasing both games, best to pre-order as soon as possible. Retailers offering the promotion include GameCrazy, EBGames, GameStop, and Amazon.
Additionally, the N64 sequel Banjo-Tooie is poised to hit Live Arcade early next year. An exact date, obviously, was not provided, but expect it to fall within a similar price range as Banjo XBLA.
