Wii Breaks 5 Million In Japan

According to sales data from Famitsu publisher Enterbrain, Nintendo has, as of this week January 20, sold over 5 million Wii units since the console’s launch on December 2 in Japan. The top selling software title for the console is none other than Wii Sports, which has sold 2,663,938 units during the same time period.

How does Wii-Sports have an sales number independent of the Wii itself? Do you mean that many people bought it ASIDE from the pack-in?:ohmy:

Nah, Wii Sports doesn't come with the console in Japan. It's only available separately.
