Speaking to IGN, Capcom’s Christian Svensson confirmed that Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles for Nintendo Wii will indeed support both 480 progressive-scan and 16:9 widescreen modes.

Little is known about the title thus far, so here’s hoping that Umbrella Chronicles makes an appearance at Capcom’s upcoming Gamer Day event on April 12.
