A month of Metroid continues with the release of SNES mega-classic Super Metroid on the Wii Virtual Console. Widely regarded as one of the greatest 2D adventures of all time, Super Metroid is considered to be Samus’ finest hour.

Aside from the 800 Wii Points megaton that is Super Metroid, the Zelda-esque Neutopia hit the VC this week for 600 Wii Points as well as Sega Genesis classic Shinobi III: Return of the Ninja Master for 800 Wii Points. Both are great games and definitely worth a purchase, with of course, Super Metroid.
