Star Soldier Sequel In The Works

Fan of the classic shooter Star Soldier? A blog post from Hudson executive Takahashi “16 Shot” Meijin has revealed that Hudson is currently developing a sequel to the game, tentatively titled Star Soldier R for the Nintendo Wii.
There’s a catch, though. Hudson is not sure if demand is high enough for a retail release. That being said, Hudson is set to debut a playable version of the game running in the time attack “Caravan Mode” during its Caravan Summer Tour event. If the response Hudson receives from fans is positive, then it should seal the deal for a retail release.
Not sure about you… but in the event Hudson decides not to release the game to retail, it’d better see a release on Nintendo’s upcoming WiiWare service.
