Sega Deploys Ghost Squad

As part of their Gamer’s Day event today, Sega has officially announced (and unveiled) Ghost Squad for the Nintendo Wii. As fans would know, Ghost Squad was a hit arcade game back in 2005. The Wii version plans to bring the adrenaline pumping arcade experience straight to home, with a barrage of Wii-specific gameplay modes and features.
The game will feature use of the Wiimote controller as a sort of light gun, to easily target on-screen enemies, defuse bombs, and rescue hostages. You’ll get a selection of 25 high-powered weapons, ranging from machine guns, submachine guns, pistols, sniper rifles, shotguns, and even crossbows to aid you in thwarting the terrorists’ diabolical plans.
Check out the all-new screens after the jump. Have to say, this is a game the Wii needs. I can’t wait.
