Telltale Games has sent word that duo Sam & Max will make their console debut on October 7 in Sam & Max Season One for Wii. Structured like a TV show, the first installment in this point-and-click adventure title includes six episodes in all on a single disc. Players assume the role of detective Sam and his rabbit sidekick Max on a hunt for the mastermind behind a hypnosis conspiracy.

Fans who pre-order the title through GameStop will receive a CD filled with all sorts of Sam & Max bonus content, including a behind-the-scenes “making of” clip, trailers, concept art, a soundtrack sampler, and desktop wallpapers.
