Nintendo has revealed today that the Nintendo Wii has reached a total of 30 million systems sold in the United States, reaching the mark 15 months faster than the previous record holder. It’s comes no surprise to most of us as the Nintendo Wii grabbed gamers of all ages, young and old, and introduced them into the new world of motion-controlled gaming.

It’s very likely that the Nintendo Wii will continue this success with a strong lineup coming in the near future, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, Donkey Kong Country Returns, Kirby’s Epic Yarn, Metroid: Other M and more. Congratulations Nintendo on the new milestone!
