Back in January, Macromedia Flash developer XGen announced that it was working on a secret project for Nintendo’s upcoming WiiWare service. The project in question is none other than an updated port of its popular Defend Your Castle Flash game.

Formally revealed in the April issue of UK-based NGamer magazine, the WiiWare port is undergoing a facelift in terms of graphics. With the Wii Remote in hand, players will be able to “rub away” their foes and drop bombs on an army of uninvited castle invaders.

Defend Your Castle is slated to release later this year for a total of 500 Wii Points.
