It’s now official, at least from the man himself. Speaking to Reuters, Nintendo of America senior VP George Harrison has confirmed that he is one of the executives who opted for a severance package, rather than relocate from the company’s Redmond offices to San Francisco.

I have confirmed to all employees that I will be leaving at the end of December and not making the move to California,” Harrison told Reuters by telephone.

Harrison did not say what he plans to do after leaving Nintendo.
