Is Castlevania heading to Wii? Rumors regarding a Wii entry in the series first surfaced when leaked screenshots – which later turned out to be legit – from the DS title Order of Ecclesia showcased a Wii sub-menu item, hinting at possible Wii to DS connectivity.

Konami has since refused to comment on the leak and the official word currently is that a Wii Castlevania is not in development. Despite this, a listing on online retailer Badger Comics mentions that Tokyopop’s upcoming comic book based on Castlevania: Curse of Darkness will be “cross-promoted” with a Wii and DS installment in the series. We know that Order of Ecclesia is planned for a fall 2008 release on DS, but alongside a Wii title as well? News to us! Of course, this could be a huge misunderstanding, but the evidence of Wii connectivity with Order of Ecclesia only makes this discovery add more fuel to the fire.
