Atlus today announced its entry into the casual market with Octomania, a quirky family-oriented puzzle game in development for the Nintendo Wii. The title promises to offer a variety of different play modes, including a two-player online mode via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.

Akin to puzzle classics like Tetris, the goal is to rid your screen of Octopi as quickly as possible before the enemy does. Players can line up Octopi to pull off massive combo chains and perform special attacks against their foe.

Octomania is slated to hit store shelves March 11. Oh, and it’ll retail for only $19.99. At that price, it’s hard to resist.
