Homebrew developer Pirata Nervo returns with an update to NervOS, a featured-filled XMB shell replacement for the PSP that aims to provide a user friendly and feature rich interface.

Notable additions in version 2.1 include a built-in unpacker with support for extracting standard ZIP files, the ability to mount various PSP devices and file system locations through USB connection, and a “Network Update” function which allows users to easily update when a later version of the shell is released. Homebrew developer Pirata Nervo has released an update to NervOS, a featured-filled XMB shell replacement for the PSP that aims to provide a user friendly and feature rich interface.

Now at version 2.0, the application boasts a fully re-designed user interface, coupled with a built-in text editor, the ability to load PSOne games from within NervOS, a password protected log-in system, and support for accessing files through USBHostFS.

Homebrew developer Pirata Nervo has released an update to NervOS, a lightweight shell replacement for the PSP that aims to provide a user friendly and feature rich interface.

Now at version 1.7, NervOS features a simple file browser with the ability to delete, rename, and copy files and folders. Other notable additions include a built-in calculator utility, support for OGG encoded music files, and use of the native Sony OSK for text input.

Notably, version 1.6 features support for custom application skins, the ability to change CPU clock speed, and the addition of a low battery indicator that flashes red when the PSP’s battery is at a charge level of 10 percent.

Version 1.4 introduces multi-tasking support, an integrated music player, a minimalistic volume bar, and a task manager for monitoring running processes.

Similar to iR Shell, NervOS is a shell replacement for the PSP that aims to provide a user friendly and feature rich interface. Notable features include the ability to take screenshots, a built-in custom image viewer, MP3 playback, and support for executing UMD discs and homebrew applications straight from within the shell.
