thanks for the update.

january39 says:

Sweet as, great app this. Thanks

ne0h says:

Updated the download link, I've just fixed a little bug in the Homebrew Sorter

silver_surfer says:

@ ne0h:

hey you forgot to include the eboot..

the attached file only contain data folder..

ne0h says:

Ok, uploaded again

dennis96411 says:

Everything is great, but I liked the old interface better, it's more welcoming. Nice job!

Deathscreton says:

Hey, this is great. Awesome job. Stuff like this makes me feel great that i'm apart of the HB community. I hope its not to early or late to suggest a feature. Is it possible to update the web browser's RAM access? That would kill the "Not enough memory" message. (I'm a trainee when it comes to creating HB. So, please, if the need arises, let me know if you ever need help or extensive testing done.)

ne0h says:

Ok, I can add a check to use the Slims Extra Ram, probably I'll add it in the next release

Deathscreton says:

Great. Thanks again. By the way, isn't DAX a bit outdated? I mean, most HB is 3.XX kernal and higher. And CSO is naturally smaller and easier to use anyways.

silver_surfer says:

I just found this (the word "comfirm")

http://img355.imageshack.us/img355/7659/snap000ed9.png

it should be like this ("confirm")

http://img211.imageshack.us/img211/5273/snap001wu4.png

how to fix?

just go to ms0:/PSP/GAME/Xplora 1.8/lang/english.txt

edit english.txt then press control F to find the word.

under Find what: type comfirm then replace it with confirm

ne0h says:

Oh, yes, I've added DAX because I've got some problems with the CSO compressor, "fixed" in the next release.

OSHIDezu says:

When I try to start it, it just gives me a black screen, and I need to hold the power button to turn off my PSP.
Another person I know had the same problem.

Running 5.00 M33-4.
Help pl0x?

ne0h says:

Try to unload the plugins, probably cxmb...

OSHIDezu says:

Not using CXMB, deleted all plugins, same problem.
I've already heard 2 other people had this problem as well.

Do you have any idea what the problem is?

Deathscreton says:

Have you tried redownloading? Could be a corrupt file. Also, make sure your homebrew (HB) kernel is at 5.XX. I belive Xplora runs on that kernel alone.

Deathscreton says:

Then the next release will be the greatest. Is RAR still being implemented?

OSHIDezu says:

Oh, I will try running it on 5.XX kernel.

OSHIDezu says:

YEP, WORKS!
THANKS!

Larz258 says:

Thanks man this is awesomel. still waiting for a M4a player (and some of the PMFs still aren't playing but I think thats the UMD). Also on the english text editor, when your try to exit it asks if you want to save in Italian (I think, it might be another language, and its says save completed when I press the confirm button so I know its asking to save), I will upload a screen shot in my next comment.

ArtfulDodger says:

this app is awesome. can you use the text editor with a ir keyboard?

ne0h says:

I've looked around this, but...
I don't know, I'll try to improve it for the next release...

No, I haven't added it, and I think that I can't add it, I've a Slim and no one IR Keyb...

Deathscreton says:

It's not in the english.txt. Must be coded into the eboot. ne0h will have to fix this when he can.

ne0h says:

Oh yes, probably I've forget to add this string in the languages files, sorry, I'll fix this...

Deathscreton says:

Thanks. We apprechiate the Shell.

Vandrvekn says:

Very cool program. I've just started trying it out.

Is there any way to open a HTML file without connecting to a network? When I try, it wont load the file after exiting the connect screen.

Deathscreton says:

Have you tried turning your wifi switch off? Then try to access the file?

ne0h says:

This is the SCE browser, I'm launching it with a start url, I don't know if is possibile to do what you've said....

Juliet says:

Great release. Thx. PMF player works now and the mouse pointer is cool but it continues to go down after releasing analog stick. Using D-pad is easier. It'll be better if D-pad is used to select the icons immediately like in v1.6 whereas analog stick gives you a real mouse feel. Looking forward to .rar support.

roe-ur-boat says:

Just launch it with the path to the html file as the start url.

ne0h says:

I'm already using this "feature" to launch files...
Anyway, site is online again...

Vandrvekn says:

Same result, won't pull up the file.

What I'd like is a file manager capable of selecting and opening stored html files. I sometimes use my PSP as an ebook reader but entering each file name into the browser is a pain.

ne0h says:

I know, this is because I've tried to open it directly form file browser, anyway I'll try to find a solution!

peticly says:

es un producto que nos ahuda en todo lo que queremos para la psp

ArtfulDodger says:

I've been having problems with this on Phat PSP. It freezes if its launched by the XMB. But it works great when I launch it only from IRshell.

ArtfulDodger says:

It's also strange because it worked great yesterday, I launched it by the XMB and I haven't changed a thing since it was installed.

ArtfulDodger says:

Never mind...I left CWCheat set on button remap and saved my settings as default. Sorry, I never meant to hijack the thread...

ne0h says:

nop

ne0h says:

If anyone want to add something to my todo list: TODO List

Deathscreton says:

Lawl. I piled the thing with features. >.<

Larz258 says:

Could you make a remote joy lite supporting version of this? Because every time I try to use this on remote joy lite, it has a very hard time reconizing button input.

ne0h says:

Sorry, haven't understand, do you want to have remotejoylite integrated in Xplora?
The "normal" plugin doesn't work?

Larz258 says:

The plugin works, but Xplora has a really hard time reconigzing button input when I use it. I was just wondering if you would be able to fix that for 1.9 or 2.0.

Deathscreton says:

USB Function is flawed. Computer won't regconize it.

Larz258 says:

Oh, is this something RemoteJoy Lite team can fix, or is it beyond the abbility of a plugin? Like showing the recovery menu, since there are no recovery plugins.

phroxX says:

Very good, I would really like to learn to develop too ..

jdmcgee says:

I love this homebrew app (Thanks ne0h!) but I keep experiencing a little problem with using UMD Dumper in v1.8. In both v1.6 & v1.8 Xplora gives the incorrect available space for my 8gb memory stick. I have over 6gb available on the stick and both 1.6 & 1.8 state:

FREE: -1939.16MB
USED: 1378.16MB
TOTAL: -561.00MB

This wasn't a huge problem with v1.6 when I tried to dump a UMD because it would let me dump even though Xplora stated I had negative available space but in v1.8 I get the same message with every attempt of a UMD dump stating:

"No enough free space to complete operation!"

I know I have plenty of space though...

Any ideas???

Thanks In Advance

PS - ne0h, I can't wait to see where you take this homebrew!

ne0h says:

Yes, I've probably an integer overflow in the function that I use for getting the free space...
I've probably already fixed this problem!
