Ubisoft: 12 PSP Titles Planned For 2009 Fiscal Year

Earlier this month, Ubisoft’s UK managing director Rob Cooper lamented over Sony’s lack of “direction” with the PSP, which led many to question the publisher’s faith in the handheld. A company spokesperson has since clarified Cooper’s statements, confirming that Ubisoft has 12 PSP titles planned for release this fiscal year.

Ubisoft’s 2009 fiscal year ends March 31, 2009. Obviously, none of these PSP titles were announced at the company’s recent Ubidays media event, so perhaps we’ll hear more on them once E3 kicks off in July. Hopefully.

Thats great news compared to what was posted about the company before. Hopefully these planned releases don't get canceled because of "direction" or other issues. I look forward to some new titles.

This is good news for PSP owners concidering the number of studios that are abandoning the great little handheld console. And yes I can't wait for titles and screenshots.
